Louisiana, Here We Come

Never have I felt the nudge to leave my hometown to help others like I have felt after Hurricane Katrina. A buddy and I will be heading to Baldwin, LA sometime this Saturday to take a uhaul full of supplies to an UMCOR distribution depot. We're planning on staying there through Monday night to help load and unload trucks. I'm really looking forward to helping. There is gas and a place for us to stay. So all is in line and coordinated. There will also be lots to do back here at home as we help the displaced families that are relocated here. What a great opportunity to show the love of Christ to others.

No one cares about the first two comments. Let me know how it goes as we are trying to take in some evacuees etc.

How did it go in Louisiana? I'm sure the Lord used you!
