How Satan Works
You ever feel that Satan is working overtime on you? I really felt that way yesterday. It was one of those days that just started off on the wrong foot and snowballed from there. I forgot to set my clock back so I got up, got ready for church, and went to check on something on my computer before leaving when I saw the clock read 6:58 instead of 7:58. DANG IT!! I was ready to go so I just left. Then I had a lot of responsibilities at church and had this horrible attitude afterwards about how things had went and how frustrated I was with the morning. Then I started to remember that I had been talking quite a bit this past week about how things were going well at church and how I was "progressing" personally. And wouldn't you know it, that's when Satan decided to weasel his way in and push my buttons. Satan never has to work hard when we're already headed in the wrong direction. It's when we are drawing closer to God and being obedient to him that the devil decides to do things that push you back. Recognition of this creates an awareness that Satan is working and then hopefully this awareness brings about a proactive defense to fend off Mr. Evil Angel. This whole Christian thing sure ain't easy.

Oh, Satan's alive and well. He prowls around like a roaring lion waiting to pounce on someone. He's definitely prowling around right now. The question is, will we be eaten alive or capture and declaw him? I guess we'll see what we're made of.
