Off To Nashville
Well I'm headed to Nashville and for the 40th time, no, I am not going to try to get a record deal. However, I will be seeing some great Christian music acts including Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Hawk Nelson, and many more. Also some great speakers including Doug Fields, Louie Giglio, and Tony Campolo. I'm headed there the Youth Specialties National Youth Workers Convention. I'll be gone for about 4 days, which is great. It comes at a perfect time right before the whole holiday craziness and right after our big fundraiser at church. I'm looking forward to being fed instead of having to prepare lessons every day and then teach others. Don't get me wrong, I love working with these kids, but it's nice to not have to worry about that stress for a few days. I'm looking forward to the worship times and the spiritual nourishment of this convention. It's always exciting to know that you are preparing for God to do something awesome in your life. I guess I kind of feel that way right now anyways. So this will just be more icing on the cake. I like white cake better than chocolate by the way.
