It is a beautiful morning here in central Kansas. (picture is the view from my backdoor. nothing exciting, but you can see an orb in the bottom right hand corner) I woke up this morning next to my wife with the sun beginning to poke in through the blinds and something inside just felt good. Ever have those mornings when you're just happy to wake up and be a part of what God has created? That's how I feel this morning. There are so many reasons for me to feel like this today...
- I'm still loved by God
- I have a great wife and family
- I'm blessed through my job
- It's Friday
- I get to watch baseball tonight
- The weather is beautiful
- I'm alive
There's plenty more, but that's what comes to mind right now. Also, before I forget, I want to make a short list of some thoughts that have been going through my head for future posts. Here they are...
- My generation's reaction to the Church
- Why I'm hesitant about being emergent
- The Kingdom of God/Heaven
- Salvation - not all about eternity

I always check to see what wonderful things you have to say about your dad (cough, cough).
Actually it's a good blog. (Too bad you never let us know what's on your mind).
I keep up via Google Reader. Thanks for your thoughts and the great photo.
