Steamboat Springs Getaway

I took Melissa on a surprise getaway to Steamboat Springs, CO this past weekend. It worked great. I even got her principal and school secretary in on it. We drove to Denver on Thursday and stayed with my buddy Ben and his wife Andrea and then drove to Steamboat on Friday. It was a great vacation because we didn't feel as if we had to do a bunch of things. We hung out and relaxed for a majority of the weekend in a condo that we were fortunate to use thanks to a friend of ours from church. The highlight was a ride in the Gondola up to the top of the mountain where we ate at Stoker's Bar & Grill. And we got to cook our own steaks at the 8th Street Grill on a separate evening. Good times!
