Rocco's Road to Damascus

Yesterday and today I observed National Day of Prayer by listening to the testimony of Rocco Morelli, an ex-mafia wise guy who found Christ at just the right time. After getting deeply involved with the mafia, Rocco was at an event that he was hoping would serve as an alibi for something he was about to do. Instead, this event was planned by God to be his conversion day. At this event, God reached out and pulled Rocco out of the lifestyle he was living. Rocco responded and though he spent a few years in prision, Rocco was able to make it out alive and now preaches the Good News to prisons, churches, youth, and many others. Rocco, like the apostle Paul, reached a day where he would have his world flipped upside down. As I talk to others about Rocco's story, it becomes clear that nothing really is too big for God. When we pray, do we really expect for our prayers to be answered? Or do we put a ceiling on our prayers? I'll admit, I've done this. I've put God in a box. Let go and let God.
