Getting That Feeling Back

Over the past few weeks I have been involved in an adult baseball league here in town. It's been a blast, however I had struggled hitting the ball out of the infield. Coach Jorge told me he was about to move me out of the cleanup spot until I hit a home run over the left field fence. What a great feeling! I haven't had that feeling for over 3 years and man it felt good to hit one out. There are some things that stick in your mind that you wish you could experience again. I suppose for me those things include hitting a home run, catching a touchdown pass, going on a date with my wife, and goofing off in the college dorms. I'm sure there are many more, but I can't think of them right now. It's nice to get one of those feelings back.
