No Ring on the Finger

As many of you know, yesterday was my court date for my divorce. I won't say much about it other than it was a sad and frustrating day. It was definitely very painful. Thanks though to my parents for being here and supporting me through this whole thing as well as to my friends and family members who have and will continue to pray for me and my ex-wife. Wierd to write that. Today was the first day I didn't wear my ring to work and it just feels like something is missing. How do you take something that has been a huge part of your life for almost 6 years and wake up one morning and realize that it will never be there again? What now? From the research and reading of scripture that I have done, marriage is a forever thing. Even though a piece of paper legally divorces a couple, in God's eyes you have made a covenant with that person and with Him forever. So what now? I guess it will be a day to day thing where hopefully I can be obedient to what God wants for me right now. It's all in His hands. Only His agenda matters.

Todd,

I have been praying for you regularly. I can't imagine what it is like to be in your shoes. You have carried yourself well. May God overwhelm you with his grace and mercy in this difficult time and grant you wisdom and discernment for the days ahead.

All the prayers have really made a diference. Definitely needing wisdom and discernment for the future. By the way, who is Cruxfaith??

Just wanted you to know there are people "out there" praying for you and Crystal. My heart breaks for you. But, I know God will use this for His good. Keep plugging away.
