Here Comes Winter

I hate summer! And now that its coming to an end I'm getting very excited. I love this time of the year. A nip is in the air and there are so many things I just love about Fall. MLB playoffs, high school football, college football, NFL, smell of fireplaces, drinking hot chocolate, eating soup (chili), wearing slippers, wearing jeans and long sleeve shirts, burying myself under the covers, watching ESPN Gameday, wearing stocking caps, pheasant hunting, and hockey (ummmm...no). But I guess the thing I love the most about this time is the excitement of getting close to Thanksgiving and Christmas. You just can't beat spending time with family and friends surrounding the most celebratory occasion of all time, Jesus's birth. I can't wait!

You know, I do recall some older cousins playing football in the street in T-shits on Christmas, crazy boys. Don't you know it's cold out. I am personally a warm weather person, but I like the smells of fall too. I love Christmas as well to celebrate the birth of our Lord, I just wish it was warm. Oh well, enjoy your fall and I'll see you soon. I'm praying for you, hang in there.
Love you
Kelli

Yea, I don't remember wearing any of those in the street. Must have been a slow day for entertainment.

We may get to where T-shirts when over Christmas when you come out to visit. We might even be able to go swimming. How's that for a good old-fashioned Christmas.

How crazy would it be to be swimming outside for Christmas? No snow in Vegas?
